HALCYON VERB - BETA END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

By installing or using Halcyon Verb (the "Software"), you agree to this
agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

1. LICENSE GRANT
   Halcyon Audio grants you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable
   license to install and use this beta version of the Software on computers
   you own or control, for personal and commercial music production. Audio you
   create with the Software is yours.

2. RESTRICTIONS
   You may not, and may not allow anyone else to:
   a) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive
      the source code, algorithms, or internal structure of the Software,
      except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits this despite
      this restriction;
   b) modify, adapt, translate, patch, or create derivative works of the
      Software;
   c) remove, alter, or circumvent any notices, licence terms, or technical
      protections in the Software;
   d) redistribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, publish, or host the
      Software or its installers, in whole or in part, including on other
      websites or file-sharing services; share the official download link
      instead;
   e) use the Software or any part of it to build a competing product.

3. OWNERSHIP
   The Software is licensed, not sold. Halcyon Audio retains all rights,
   title, and interest in the Software, including all intellectual property
   rights. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

4. BETA SOFTWARE
   This is pre-release software. It may contain bugs, may crash your host
   application, and may change or stop working in future versions. Save your
   work often and keep backups of your projects.

5. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
   The Software includes open-source components, listed with their licences
   in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt. Those components are covered by their own
   licences, and nothing in this agreement limits your rights under them.

6. TERMINATION
   This license ends automatically if you breach it. When it ends, you must
   stop using the Software and delete all copies.

7. NO WARRANTY
   THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
   IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
   PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
   TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HALCYON AUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE
   FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS
   OF DATA, PROJECTS, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE
   THE SOFTWARE.
